11th May                  Resolutions discussion "To increase awareness of the subtle signs of Ovarian Cancer" and ACWW Pennies for Friendship presentation (by Zoom)

8th June                  The Weird and Wonderful World of the Law with David Allen (by Zoom)

13th July                  Summer Party and 90th Anniversary celebration of BA WI with entertainment by Felicity Austin - at       the  Village Hall (tbc)

10th August             "Edith Piaff" by Julie Ede

12th October            Make a Christmas Decoration with Caroline Boulter

9th November          Our AGM

14th December       Christmas celebration party with entertainment by the "After Eight" singing quartet

2019 PROGRAMME

Our Table Sale/Boot Fair is open to everyone, so please spread the word to your family, friends and neighbours and sell your unwanted items in the warmth of Broughton Astley Village Hall! We are hoping to attract some local small businesses/crafters to have a table to give a wide selection of items to buy.

April 10th                "Hats from the Hall" - by hat maker Louise Brooks

May 8th                  WI Resolution for 2018 - we will discuss and vote on this year's WI Resolution

June 12th               "Uganda Collective" - a talk by Alison Rockett on this Charity

July 10th                This will be our "Summer party" evening - venue tbc

August 14th           "Coco Chanel" - a talk by Julie Ede on this renowned couturier

September 11th     A visit and talk by the Leicester Fire Service (tbc)

October 9th           "The Life of a Ladies Maid" - a talk by Jo Golby

November 13th      Our Annual General Meeting

December 11th      Our shared Faith Supper followed by "Myths of Belly Dancing" with Roxanne Dinsdale
