History of WI House

The history of WI house may be of interest to members who have recently joined or have been with WI for a long time.

You may be aware of the bricks that were made by every WI in Leicestershire & Rutland to celebrate the  National WI's 75th  anniversary. Each institute make a brick to represent what they thought their WI stood for and this have been made into a wall hanging, this is in the meeting room at WI house. Markets also took part in this and there is a separate wall hanging for markets.
